03 Wash Pty Limited is partnered with Wet-Tech USA (23 years of unblemished trading) to bring the EnviroSaver II® (ES2®) ozone laundry system to the Australasian and Asia Pacific region.

The 03 Wash/Wet-Tech ozone systems provide the opportunity to conserve our natural resources whilst providing production savings in the laundry process. The 03 Wash/Wet-Tech laundry systems (including Tunnel and Batch washers) are sized for the small and large laundry with machine capacity in the range of 25 through 455 kilogram as well as complete system design for larger laundry facilities with multi-sized washers producing high volumes of laundry.

Ozone delivery is through individual ozone generator cells and transformers, which are controlled from an input signal from your washing machine programmer. The correct amount of ozone is delivered directly and continuously into each washing machine for each wash program through our unique sintered stainless steel or ceramic diffuser® system installed into the individual washing machine. The generator construction consists of silver electrodes embedded in borosilicate glass dielectric generators to generate ozone for a cleaner, softer, odour free laundry. Operating costs are low, the system design provides for a low maintenance requirement.

The 03 Wash/Wet Tech systems will wash all soil classifications with little if any rewash volume.

With continuous low level direct ozone injection, the 03 Wash/Wet-Tech ozone systems provides positive impact to the eventual waste water stream reducing BOD, COD and FOG. As well as reduced odour, improved flocculation reduced chemical residue along with improved soil removal.

Following the introduction of the 03 Wash/Wet-Tech laundry systems in Australia, our ozone system has been recognised in 2005 with the following Government and Commercial recognition.

1) NSW Government, Department of Environment and Conservation (NSW), highly Commended Award, Best Practice, Innovation into Industry, official case study available.

2) Finalist. The National Endeavour Awards, "Environmental Solutions of the Year." The other three finalists: Toyota Motor Corporation of Australia, Siemens and Johnson Diversey.

3) NSW, Government, Department of Energy, Utilities and Sustainability, (DEUS), Highly Commended, for Green Globe Awards 2005, Best Practice Award, Energy and Water Efficiency Excellence.

This recognition of the 03 Wash/Wet-Tech ozone laundry systems provides the government support for our system and confirms that our ozone system will deliver the operational benefits sought by progressive laundry business operators.

03 Wash is able to provide purchase options, including an option for paying from the operational funding; this method deletes the requirement for product Capitalisation to provide the benefits of the 03 Wash/Wet-Tech ozone experience in your laundry.

Geoff Homann has held a number of senior management positions in both international and national companies in Australia and in the establishing of start up companies. In recent years Geoff was involved with the new business of Energy Performance Contracting (EPC). This business identified energy efficiency projects mainly in government utilities upgrading with energy efficient equipment to reduce operational costs with the EPC Company's guarantee of energy reduction results.

With Geoff's commitment to the environment, he could see a major gap particularly in the efficiencies of commercial laundries here in Australia where very little innovation had occurred over the past 50 years. Whilst completing an EPC survey, Geoff learnt about the commercial and environmental values in using ozone in commercial laundries from a visiting EPC colleague from the USA.

The next two years, Geoff and the co-directors of the newly formed 03 Wash Pty Ltd, spent evaluating the various ozone technologies from around the world. All the paths led to Wet-Tech, the only company that satisfied all the commercial and environmental values that Geoff and his directors knew the customer would be looking for. This included a very logical method of ozone delivery into the wash process and Wet-Tech's 23 years of unblemished trading headed up by a man with many years of first hand knowledge of laundry operation, and an academic in laundry wash and performance.

Geoff is CEO of 03 Wash Pty Ltd and is committed to presenting measurable commercial and environmental results with the company. We are really proud to be a partner with Jack Reiff and his organisation, and bringing his systems into the Australasian and Pacific arena. The reliability of the Wet-Tech laundry system has allowed 03 Wash to develop a management system that provides the laundry installation of an ozone system without the need for capital investment.

In order to provide reassurance for investment by the laundry operators, 03 Wash Pty Ltd partnered with the Department of Environment and Conservation (NSW) (DEC) in trialing the system in the most demanding area of general laundering, an aged care nursing home. The system was installed to ascertain the effectiveness of ozone under Australian laundry operating conditions and testing was carried out on fabric and water quality by reputable government authorities, A.W.T.A. and AMBDEL. The results are available in the official government case study with results being audited by the DEC. The system performed better than expected, and was awarded two major government awards for commercial and environmental performance, and subsequently nominated as one of four finalists for the National Endeavour Award.

This innovative ozone technology will deliver improved wash quality, and improved infection control, reduced water requirements, reduced chemicals, reduced operating times, reduced energy demand, reduced greenhouse gas emissions, reduced operating costs, extended linen life and the laundry operator will be capable of monitoring their own ozone and chemical wash formula usage. Ozone is cutting edge technology which provides enhancement to the established ways of laundry processing and any method that provides immediate and measurable reduction to operating costs is worthy of embracing.

Rod Young has held the position of CEO, Aged Care Association Australia for the past six years after more than twenty years in management of acute hospitals and is uniquely placed to consider the possible applications of ozone in the laundry operations of health and aged care facilities.

Rod is a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Health Service Management both from the University of New South Wales, Sydney Australia.

He has a passion for improving the operating efficiencies of aged care provider members and believes that if that can be achieved whilst improving environmental outcomes then triple bottom results become a distinct possibility. Rod joined the Board of O3Wash with the intention of making these outcomes a reality for aged care providers in Australia.

After an engineering career commencing with the Royal Australian Navy, Bob Harper joined a major Multinational Pharmaceutical company and was responsible for Engineering Operations within Australia and numerous projects throughout South East Asia.

With his experience gained over a career spanning 40 years, and with the high levels of accuracy and precision needed for the exacting requirements of designing and managing and maintaining systems in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Engineering Operations, Bob was able to critically evaluate the various ozone laundry systems available throughout the world. After extensive research, Wet-Tech proved to be the unrivalled choice for 03 Wash, to commence its distribution business for the Australasian and Pacific Market.
